A luxury penthouse in Monaco has been rented for € 600 000 per month.
The only
apartment of its kind, located on the Odeon Tower, the tallest building in the
Principality was recently rented by an unknown client for € 600 000 per
month.
The apartment
occupies three levels and has 3,500 sq. m. of living space and 1,500 sq. m. of
terrace. In addition to numerous bedrooms and bathrooms, the tenant will have
pools inside and outside the apartments, a cinema hall and a glass sauna, looking
out over Monaco. It costs stunning € 315 million. In fact, for the current
moment this penthouse is the most expensive real estate in the world. No
wonder, there is no one wishing to pay this price for this apartment and it has
been empty since construction was completed in 2015.
The Odeon
Tower is one of the most impressive buildings that have been built in Monaco in
recent years, a skyscraper not far from Larvotto Beach in the Monte Carlo area.
The Odeon Tower, or known locally as La Tour Odeon, is a 49-story concrete-glass
tower developed by Marzocco group and designed by Monegasque architect
Alexandre Giraldi. There are a total of 60 apartments for rent and sale,
including this five-story penthouse. Residents living in La Tour Odeon enjoy
24-hour concierge services, a business center, spa, and a restaurant.
The
Larvotto area in which the tower is located is an architectural landmark of
Monaco. It is situated the coastline and offers apartments with beautiful views
of the sea and proximity to the beaches and the center. The peculiarity of this
region of Monaco is that 90% of the building belongs to the famous Monegasque
Pastor family.
Therefore,
there are more chances to rent than to buy real estate. In any case, apartments
for rent are rare, tenants are more likely to wait for an offer on the waiting
list.
The
Marzocco group, owing the apartment has officially confirmed the fact of the
lease, but nothing is known about the identity of the tenant and the amount of
payments.
According
to Nice-Matin reporters, an average rental price in the Odeon Tower is € 100 –
120 per sq. m., so the rental price should exceed 350,000 per month.
Nevertheless, different sources call an amount of € 600,000 per month!
