November 12, 2019 country's authorities had approved an extended the list of
assets that fall under the program for granting residence permits for
investments. Apart from a standard €250 000
that you pay for an apartment or a house you can also invest at least €400 000 to:
- a joint stock company
- mutual investment fund
- real estate company
- Government bonds, stocks or private debt-securities
- Short-term deposits, etc.
An only
mandatory condition for different types of companies, organizations or
investment funds is that it can invest these funds only into Greece economy. In
plain language, your €400 000
can only be used inside of Greece in any suitable variations.
