The future world tallest buildings
The pace of
construction of real estate around the globe grows bigger every year. This is
especially the case in Asia and Middle East - where almost all of the tallest
skyscrapers of coming years are going to be built.
The whole
Middle East is on the watch for the tallest skyscraper in the world – the Saudi
Arabia Jeddah Tower, the height of which is planned to exceed 1000 meters.
However, the legendary building of Adrian Smith & Gordon Gill Architecture
bureau is unlikely to be completed soon: the construction was frozen due to
political crisis and has not yet resumed. But there is no place for sorrow yet
as the second tallest building in the country is being built. The incredible
Diamond Tower, 432 meters high, with a spinning construction of 360 degrees around
the perimeter.
Kazakhstan,
having renamed its capital into Nur-sultan (former Astana) will surprise the
world to the upside by building there a 382-meter “Abu Dhabi Plaza”.
China is
full of surprises, but this is not the case with the upcoming skyscrapers: the
tallest of 4 new high-risers, Wuhan Greenland Center, should reach 475 meters. Initially,
it was planed to reach 636 m, but was reduced shortly due to restrictions on aircraft
operations.
The first
Indonesian super tower 335 meters high in Jakarta down-town Tamrin 9 is one of
the two towers of the complex, which should be completed soon. The second
project, Kempinski Hotel & Residence, is being constructed in Kuala Lumpur.
A luxury hotel will be located in three curved skyscrapers 308 meters high each.
And
finally, Europe. This year's only European skyscraper is due to appear in
Poland. The height of the Varso tower is 310 meters. iIt will become the
highest in the European Union, outrunning the famous “The Shard” in London.
